I’ve read the first six books of the Killer of Kings Series. I was hoping that one day Boss, the head of the Killer of Kings would get his due and fall in love. I thought it was going to be harder for Boss to accept love, but he fell in love seamlessly.
It would have to be a woman that considers herself; dead from the inside out to take on Boss, but the Widow Maker is just the right match for the Killer of Kings.
In the sixth book, the Widow Maker was introduced, and it was a nice surprise when she turned out to be the woman for Boss. Both have deep scars and are jaded, and I like the way they came together.
As always, Ms. Crescent and Ms. Espino delivered a gritty romance, filled with knowledge, hope of redemption, and love.
